Robert Wayne Cochran, age 79 of Collinsville, IL, born September 22, 1942 in Granite City, IL, passed away on February 13, 2022 at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, IL.

Robert retired as an electrical lineman after 50 years of service.  He was an Air Force Veteran, liked to restore classic cars, and was a Chevy man.  He could fix anything and in his earlier years was involved in Motocross with his son.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and D. Nell (nee Melton) Cochran; two brothers; and a sister.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen M. (nee Conway) Cochran, whom he married April 24, 1971; three children:  Leslie (William) Holder of Colorado Springs, CO, Marla (Raymond) Barnhart of Belmond, TX and Cory Christopher (Emily) Cochran of Aurora, CO; three grandchildren:  Kristy (Tucker) Lane, Todd Oakland and Carter Cochran; three great-grandchildren:  Scarlett Crockett, Rylan and Tyler Oakland; numerous nieces and nephews.

It was Robert's wishes to have his body donated to Washington University School of Medicine and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
