Robert "Bob" Eugene Rickett, age 80 of Collinsville, IL, born May 3, 1943 in Altamont, IL, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Edwardsville Care Center.

Bob had worked in sales his whole career, retiring as a project manager for ABB.  He loved horseracing, Illini basketball, playing golf, and most of all spending time with his family.  He was a lifetime member of St. John United Church of Christ in Collinsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Beulah (nee McVicker) Rickett; and a stepson, Jacob Viviano.

Surviving are his wife, Rosanna (nee Anderson) Rickett, whom he married August 18, 1984; a son, Robb (Daria) Rickett of Chicago, IL; a daughter, Tiffany (Zach) Thurwalker of Belleville, IL; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Viviano of Lebanon, MO; seven grandchildren:  Alex Rickett, Jason Rickett, Kayleigh Thurwalker, Sydney Thurwalker, Connor Viviano, Carlee Mahan, and Carson Mahan; and a sister, Betty Wright of St. Elmo, IL.

Bob's wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.

Memorials may be made in Bob's honor to the Alzheimer's Association and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
