Roberta "Bobbie" Cynthia Patzer, age 73, of Maryville, IL, born February 3, 1945 in Norwalk, CT, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, IL, with her family by her side.

Bobbie attained her Associates Degree in Nursing and was a retired registered nurse after 17 years of service at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT. She loved walking her dogs in the woods and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rachel Mary nee Demao Marshall; a son, Mathew Patzer; and a sister, Ruth Marshall.

Bobbie is survived by her husband, Ronald Patzer, whom she married January 4, 1966; a son, Bryan Patzer of Eureka, MO; a daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Hoxsey of Maryville, IL;three grandchildren: Brendan Patzer, Addison Hoxsey,and Allyson Hoxsey; and a great-grandson, Channing.

Bobbie's wishes were to be cremated and private services will be held.
