Rodney "Rocky" Allen Collins, age 69 of Troy, IL, born August 8, 1950 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O'Fallon, IL.

Rocky worked for Granite City Steel for 43 years as a craneman.  He was the President of the Piston Pushers Classic Car Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodney T. and Nellie nee Allen Collins.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Diana nee Watts Collins, whom he married December 27, 1968; a son, Joseph (Tricia) Collins of Troy, IL, twins, Thomas (Kristen) Collins of Granite City, IL and Lauren (Robert) Collins Wright of Killeen, TX; eight grandchildren, Hanna, Dylan, Ethan, Mason, Hailey, Parker, Carter and Tucker; a sister, Cindy (Tom) Cates of Maryville, IL; and his three canine companions, Tinker Bell, Jazzy and Whitee.

There will be a drive thru visitation at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL. on Monday August 10, 2020 from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Memorials may be made in Rocky's honor to the National Cancer Society of St. Louis and will be received at the funeral home.
