Ronald Charles Engeling, age 65 of Collinsville, IL, born June 30, 1953 in Highland, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at his residence.

Ron was a retired computer programmer for Data Science Corporation in St. Louis, MO.  He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Collinsville, enjoyed music and playing pool, and spending time with his friends at the Horseshoe Lounge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Leona ( nee Fullriede) Engeling; and a sister-in-law, Kathy Engeling.

He is survived by his daughter, Marissa Engeling of St. Louis, MO; two brothers:  Gary (Melinda) Engeling of Maryville, IL and Craig Engeling of Glen Carbon, IL; nieces and nephew:  Erin, Stacy, Marie and Kenny Engeling.

Memorial visitation will be 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Memorial service will be at 3pm following the visitation with Rev. Michael Walther officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be received at the funeral home.
