Ronald Ray York age 76 of Troy, IL, born December 3, 1937 in Oklahoma City, OK, passed away at 9am on Friday February 21, 2014 at his residence.

Ronald had a 20 year career in the United States Air Force, and also 15 years as a district manager with Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporation. He was a major Oklahoma University Sooner fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents Chester A. and Marguerite nee Carpenter York.

He is survived by his wife Elke nee Martin York whom he married October 6, 1961, three daughters Corina (Robert) Ramirez of Blue Ridge VA, Ilonca (Kevin) Lawson of OK, and Pagie York of Edwardsville, IL, four grandchildren; Julie, Monica, Megan, and Maxx, three great grandchildren; Paisley, Aaron, and Brodie, a brother C.A. York of OK, and a twin sister Barbara York of OK.

Upon his request his body will be cremated and a burial held at a later date.
