Rose P. Teichgraeber, age 98 of Collinsville, IL, born August 30, 1922 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Sam and Mary Barillaro.  She was in her home when she went to heaven on February 22, 2021.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother who raised her two grandchildren after their mother passed away.  She graduated from Collinsville High School and loved to play Pinochle with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mary (nee Clementi) Barillaro; a brother, Angelo Barillaro and his wife, Helen; and a sister-in-law, Edith Barillaro.

Rose is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Teichgraeber of Collinsville; her son, Jim Teichgraeber of Collinsville; two grandsons, Erick Teichgraeber of Copenhagen, Denmark and Jeffrey Teichgraeber of Florissant, MO; a brother, Albert Barillaro of Collinsville; two nieces, Diane Mondorf and Shelley Brockman; a nephew, Randy Barillaro; and two aunts, Fern and Virginia Clementi.

A private service will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL with Father John Beveridge officiating.  Burial will be in SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Collinsville.

The family extends their sincere thanks to all of their friends for their prayers and to Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care.
