Ruth Ann Hudzik nee Shermanage 67 of Maryville, IL, born December 24, 1944 in E. St. Louis, IL, passed away on Monday April 23, 2012, 2:22pmat Anderson Hospital in Maryville.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Collinsville, Ruth loved the Lord. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved cooking for them and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Henry H. and Meta Sherman.

She is survived by her husband Edwin A. Hudzik whom she married February 24, 1973, a daughter Rebecca (Patrick) Presson of Maryville, a son Paul (Kelly) Hudzik of Holiday Shores, IL, a brother Donald (Judy) Sherman of Collinsville, IL, brother-in-law Stanley(Clara) Hudzik of Madison, IL, a niece Michelle (David) Dixon, and her three grandchildren Madison, Logan, and Collin.

Visitation will be 4pm to 8pm Thursday April 26, 2012 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home 2800 North Center Maryville, IL, and from 9am to 10am Friday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Funeral service will be 10am Friday April 27, 2012 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Walther officiating. Burial will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery in Fairview Heights, IL.
