Scot McCaully Morris, age 51 of Collinsville IL, born March 18, 1968 in Belleville, IL,  passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020, unexpectedly from heart related issues. Scott was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his son, Zachary Morris; his parents, Leighton Eric and Leslee nee Bickel Morris; two sisters: Heather (Jim) Wallace and Whitney (James) O'Brien; and a brother, Lossie Erin (Kelly) Morris. He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. He was an advocate for The Arts and loved to entertain everyone.  His passion in life was to teach others to follow their dreams and he influenced many students lives throughout his career.  He will forever be in our hearts.

Memorial visitation will be 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Memorial service will be at 6 p.m. following the visitation.  Private burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.

Memorial donations may be made in Scot's honor to the Miner's Institute Foundation (MIF) located in Collinsville, IL and will be received at the funeral home.
