Scott A. Guetterman age 68 of Collinsville, IL, born May 2, 1950 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Saturday May 26, 2018 at his residence.

Scott was retired after 39 years of service with Afton Chemical Company. He was a Navy veteran. Scott enjoyed photography, hiking, motorcycles, and remote airplanes and boats. He was a member of the St. Clair Masonic Lodge #24.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Virgil and Margie nee Harvey Guetterman, and a brother Mark Guetterman.

He is survived by his wife Linda nee Niepert Guetterman whom he married July 25, 1981, two daughters; Stephanie (Todd) Bertelsmann of Troy, IL, and Marsha (Eric) Lewis of Collinsville, IL, two grandchildren; Chase Bertelsmann and Brooke Lewis, two great-grandchildren; Eden, Seamus, and another on the way, and a sister Patty Meystedt of Jackson, MO.

Memorial visitation will be from 9am to 11am onMonday June 4, 2018 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL, with memorial services at 11am. Burial with military honors will be in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
