Sharon J. (nee Savage) Lake, age 86 of Collinsville, IL, born June 25, 1936 in Highland, IL, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Liberty Village Care Center in Maryville, IL.

Sharon was a Collinsville High School graduate.  She retired from National Casualty Insurance Company after 20 years of service as an administrative assistant.  She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Collinsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John "Jack" Henry and Lillian P. (nee Stuart) Savage; her husband, Morris D. Lake, whom she married on February 26, 1955; a daughter, Tammy L. Lake; a son, Michael Steven Lake; and a brother, Stuart Savage.

She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia A. (Mark) Gillis of Collinsville, IL; three grandchildren:  Jacqueline L. (Zachary) Edmondson, Kimber L. (Taylor) Kelly and Michelle J. Lake; three great-grandchildren:  Jackson, Ryleigh and Evelynn; and a sister-in-law, Judy Savage.

Memorial visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2022 at St. John United Church of Christ, 307 West Clay, Collinsville, IL.

Memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Katie Jo Bielke officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Collinsville.
