Stephen J. Truccano, age 64 of Collinsville, IL, born October 22, 1960, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
Stephen was a 1978 Collinsville High School graduate. He was a member of the American Legion SAL and was an Eagle Scout. He enjoyed listening to classic rock, playing darts, bowling, and was an avid St. Louis Blues Hockey and Chicago Cubs Baseball fan. Stephen enjoyed watching various TV series and loved the Lord of the Rings film series.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Isabelle (nee Hicks) Truccano; and a brother-in-law, Walter Baker.
Surviving is his loving wife, Jayne (nee Gillis) Truccano, whom he married October 14, 1989; son, Brandon Truccano; daughter, Sarah (Jacob) Sams; brother, William (Linda) Truccano; brothers-in-law: Mike (Annette) Gillis and Mark (Cindy) Gillis; sister-in-law, Kathy Baker; niece, Sarah J. Truccano; great niece, Addyson Tufts; cousins, and friend to many.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL.
Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Collinsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or Partners for Pets and will be received at the visitation or can be mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
