Steven Edward Dunn, age 68 of Troy, IL, born June 24, 1955 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.

Steven retired from the Machinist Union where he was the special assistant to the general secretary.  He was a past Treasurer of the Machinist Union and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Edwardsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold E. Dunn and Dorothy M. (nee Mitchell) King; a brother, Dennis Michael Dunn; a sister, Mary Ellen Baker; and a daughter-in-law, Melissa Dunn.

Surviving are his wife, Michelle (nee Singleton) Dunn, whom he married April 17, 2021; two sons:  Steven "Eric" (Melissa) Dunn of Edwardsville and Christopher Dunn of Mascoutah; four grandchildren:  Madison, Abbigail, Henry and Elaina; a brother, Richard Allen Dunn of Jonesboro, AR; a half-sister, Betty Holder of Steeleville, MO; nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 and 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 600 Water Street, Edwardsville, IL. Memorial service will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. John Shank officiating.

Inurnment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville.
