Tammy L. Wortman, age 60, of Collinsville, IL, born October 30, 1959 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at her residence.

Tammy was a 1977 graduate of Belleville Township High School East, and was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking, gardening, home decorating, and times spent with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Nancy (nee Veteto) Currat.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Wortman, whom she married on October 21, 1989; two daughters: Sarah Wortman of St. Louis, MO and Katie (Dan) Walsh of Chicago, IL; a son, Jacob Wortman of Collinsville, IL; and three grandchildren: Lola Wortman, Leo and Wesley Walsh.

Her wishes were to be cremated and private services were held.

Memorials may be made to the family or to the Metro-East Humane Society and will be handled by Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, Illinois.
