Theresa A. Dorn, age 83 of Collinsville, IL born May 27, 1932 in Granite City, IL passed away at 8:05 a.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Theresa was a retired secretary for the U.S. Government. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville and ran the bingo ticket sales for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna nee Mainridge Podnar; and a daughter-in-law, Ginger Crawford Dorn.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Henry "Hank" Dorn, whom she married on December 27, 1952; a daughter, Valerie (Jeff) Boots of Lebanon, IL, a son Henry (Melinda Marquart) Dorn of Wildwood, MO; and daughter, Beverly (Johnny) Thornton of Collinsville, IL and; two grandchildren: Jeff (Kate) Boots of Godfrey, IL and Jennifer (Jordan) Belfield of Fenton, MO; two great grandchildren: Noah Belfield and Avery Boots; a brother, Joseph (Annie) Podnar of Baton Rouge, LA; and a sister, Violet Podnar of Collinsville, IL.

Private visitation will be held at Barry Wilson Funeral Home on Monday January 4, 2016. Private graveside burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL, on Tuesday January 5, 2016 with Father John Beveridge officiating.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association and received at the funeral home.
