Tim John Thomas, age 64 of Collinsville, IL, born December 1, 1953 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, IL.

Tim attained his Masters Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.  He was a member of the Illinois C.P.A. Society. He was a hard worker and had a strong work ethic.  He enjoyed his time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert "Posey" J. Thomas and Marilyn A. ( nee Block) Thomas.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy ( nee Bozzello) Thomas, whom he married June 3, 1978; two sons:  Matthew Thomas of Collinsville, IL and Craig Thomas of Chicago, IL; one daughter, Katie (Tommy) Ashton of Collinsville, IL; nine grandchildren; a brother, Tom (Susan) Thomas of Maryville, IL; a sister, Patricia (Robert) Lorenz of Huntsville, AL; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be 3pm to 8pm on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL.

Graveside service will be 11am on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Collinsville, IL with Father John Beveridge officiating.

Memorials may be made to Yellowstone Park Forever or Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis, MO and will be received at the funeral home.
