Trevor Alexander Siebert lived with an authentic depth that this brief obituary cannot adequately hold.
He taught himself the guitar, started a fishing habit that extended to his lunch break at work, listened to music he considered obscure, learned how to cook a special meal. He flew to concerts in New York to be with his sister, Elle, the friend who's loved him the longest. He took time for meaningful talks with his brother, Luke, the friend who's always stood beside him. He drove for hours to camp in the Iowa rain with his friends who always have his back. He sat around the dining room table for countless birthdays in love and support of his blended family.
He was an exceptional nurse, a one-of-a-kind friend to his incredible Barnes family who surrounded him with hope. He somehow found his personality match in an animal and brought that cat, Lex, home, to St. Louis and his first place on his own, with flat mates who aren’t just neighbors, but caring friends whose back door was always open. And he was brave enough to love his 'upstairs Meg'. They are a gift to each other and their friendship and love provided the wide-open space and freedom to be truly themselves.
Trevor is survived by his mother, Michele (Todd) Siebert. His beloved sister and brother-in-law, Elle Siebert and Dylan Wadsworth, and his beloved brother, Luke Siebert. His honored, blended family, Katie, Frannie, Audrey, John, and Libby. His adored best friend and partner, Meg Putnam. His loving grandparents, Sharon and Jerry Lang. Dear aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues. And by Tom Siebert, an immensely proud father who walked with his son through every journey and carried him when he couldn't walk on his own.
Our love for Trevor is immeasurable and we will hold him in our hearts forever.
